Prt. William Henry "Billy" Kent

Prt. William “Billy” Kent, formerly of the Devonshire Regiment, served with No.6 Troop of No.6 Commando from, at least, 8th August 1941.

Prt. William Kent was Killed In Action (KIA) on 22nd November 1942, aged 25 years when two Luftwaffe FW190 aircraft strafed the No.6 Commando Troop train on its way from Bône to Tabarka.

He was the son of John Henry and Nocissa Kent, of Carthew, Cornwall. William was laid to rest in Bone War Cemetery, Grave III.A.6.
